13th Annual Reading Festival of Trees December 6 and 7

Don't miss this traditional holiday event for the whole family!

Kick off your holiday season on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th, by visiting Reading’s 13th annual Festival of Trees, a winter wonderland of decorated holiday trees donated by local families, organizations, businesses and schools that visitors can win for themselves! Sponsored by the Reading Education Foundation (REF), this signature fundraiser held at the Parker Middle School is a wonderful community holiday tradition for adults and children of all ages.

With a goal of over 100 unique trees of all shapes, sizes and themes to choose from, visitors vote for the Favorite, Most Creative, Most Spectacular, Most Unusual and the Best Tree Topper! In addition, children will enjoy decorating their own cookie, face painting by Creative Arts, coloring and taking part in our annual Scavenger Hunt to earning a free raffle ticket! There is a silent auction, family photo booth and entertainment throughout both days, including performances by local school choruses. Pizza, popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.

New this year, the Festival will host a special “Night with the Trees” on Saturday evening from 6—9pm that will include a special tree raffle, dinner for purchase, and entertainment. In addition, visitors can purchase raffle tickets for the Kindle HD, with its own case, which will be drawn on Sunday, December 7th at 5PM.
