A longtime Reading officer and decorated Army veteran, Amendola says her priority is maintaining a department where employees are proud to work and residents remain confident in their police force.

Members also advanced plans for wetland protection, addressed MBTA culvert work near Maillet, Sommes & Morgan, and discussed a potential ADA-accessible trail linking pickleball courts to the Center for Active Living.
