• Colonial Chorus Players Presents Dark Satire The Pillowman (thereadingpost.com) — A new production of the dark satire "The Pillowman" is coming to Reading's Old Hose House Theater from October 2–11, giving local theatergoers a chance to see a provocative, mature-audience play close to home. Colonial Chorus Players are celebrating their 65th anniversary with tiered ticket pricing, including a special sapphire supporter option and at-the-door sales before each performance.
   

• 🎙️ Reading Recap Plans Yes/No Forums on Override and CPA Ballot Questions (readingrecap.com) — Reading residents will soon get a chance to hear directly from both sides of the upcoming override and Community Preservation Act ballot questions at live, Yes/No forums hosted by Reading Recap on Haven Street and streamed online. Organizers promise equal time, structured discussion, and clear explanations to help you understand costs, impacts, and tradeoffs before you vote.
   

• School officials crafting restrictions on AI usage (homenewshere.com) — Reading school officials are tightening guidelines on classroom use of AI tools while investing leftover funds in technology upgrades and rising out-of-district tuition costs. The School Committee also reviewed PROTECT Act procedures and approved Superintendent Henry Turner's first-year goals, including community outreach on a potential override and close oversight of the Killam School building project.
