Another Drunk-Driving Crash Reported In Reading

A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash in Reading on Sunday. Two other drunk-driving crashes were reported Saturday.

READING, MA — A man has been charged with drunk driving following a car crash in Reading on Sunday night, according to police.

Police responded to the area of Main and Forest Streets at 9:24 p.m. on a report of a motor vehicle crash.

A Honda Accord and a Toyota Camry were involved in the accident. A police investigation found the Honda had rear-ended the Toyota.

The Honda's driver, Andrew Gallo, 29, of Lynnfield, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

He was arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.

The news comes after police made three drunk-driving arrests Saturday. Two of those were following crashes.
