Book Sale Room Reopens at Reading Public Library

Just in time for holiday shopping!

The Friends of the Reading Public Library are pleased to announce that Second Chapter — the Book Sale Room at the newly renovated Reading Public Library — is now open. Located on the ground floor in the Friends Room, Second Chapter is stocked with “gently used” adult, teen and children’s books (and more). Most books are available for $2 or less. DVDs and games are slightly more. Exact pricing is posted and contributions can be left in the lock box on the wall. All proceeds are used to support the library’s programs including special events, speakers and museum passes.

Please note that due to space constraints, the library is not able to accept book donations from the general public at this time.

Reading Public Library is located at 64 Middlesex Avenue. Hours and directions are available at readingpl.org.
