Reading Art Association April Demonstrator Is Steve Greco

The Reading Art Association April demonstrator is wildlife artist Steve Greco. Learn the how Steve creates his stunning animal paintings.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am the webmaster for the Reading Art Association. Did you know that there is an active community of artists in Reading?

The Reading Art Association has been an advocate of the arts in Reading Massachusetts since 1958. We meet on the second Wednesday of most months in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Our meetings usually consist of a painting demonstration by a local artist, although twice a year we also sponsor art exhibits, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. For more information about RAA, please visit our web page.

The demos are held in the of Reading on Sanborn Street. Directions and details are on the web site. Although we suggest a three dollar donation for non members at the demos to help us defray the costs, there is no admission fee. Just come and enjoy the demonstration.

If you have any questions about the organization or the web site, you can email me from the site.

That brief introduction brings me to the purpose of this post. Our meeting on April 11 will be a demonstration by wildlife artist, Steve Greco. His paintings of animals are stunning works, and this demonstration should be a special treat.

You can find out more about Steve and his work on our web site.

So if you have ever wondered, "How do they do that?" or you are simply interested in the arts, come by the demonstration and check it out. You can meet the artist, find old friends, make new friends, and rub elbows with some fine folks. Stop by early and introduce yourself. The RAA board members meet before each demo, and we are always eager to welcome new people.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
