Ceremony Inks New Alzheimer's and Dementia Law
Senator Lewis: legislation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these families.

A release from the office of State Senator Jason Lewis:
Senator Jason Lewis accepted a ceremonial pen from Governor Charlie Baker during a signing ceremony for the state's new Alzheimer's and Dementia law, which Senator Lewis helped to champion in the State Senate.
"We all know a friend, neighbor or loved one who has been touched by Alzheimer's or dementia, and understand the devastating toll this disease takes on families," said Senator Lewis, who serves as the Senate Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health. "This first-in-the-nation legislation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these families by improving diagnosis, treatment and caregiver support."
