Classical guitarist, Kenya Esteva de Ruiz, will delight you with romantic music befitting of Valentine’s Day celebrations. As a prelude to your celebrations, “Prelude D’Amour” will take place on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading. Journey through the renaissance and romantic periods exploring music by Spanish and Latin American composers including Fernando Sor, Antonio Lauro and Heitor Villa-Lobos.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit Creative Arts, a nonprofit, local community arts school providing engaging, high-quality creative instruction taught by professional teaching artists in theater, music and art. By attending this concert, you are helping make visual and performing art opportunities available and accessible to all. Creative arts provides scholarships and programming throughout the community including in the Reading Extended Day Programs, the Boys and Girls Club and at their main facility located at 25 Woburn Street in Reading.
