Community Yoga Class at Fitness Within

Then stop by Fitness Within every Tuesday and Thursday at 12N for their Community Yoga Class. The cost is only $5.00. Yoga mats are available at no cost.

Mimi (Tuesday 12N)

The physical, mental and emotional life transformation achieved through 10 years of yoga practice led me to leave the business world and become a yoga teacher to be able to share my experience with others. Through strength, flexibility and balance work I hope to take my students through a journey of physical health and spiritual growth, to inspire them to develop self awareness and to continue evolving physically, mentally and spiritually. With an open heart, gentleness and compassion, and skillfully mixing Yin and Restorative yoga, I lead my students to the correct asana alignments, pranayama and savasana/meditation to bring them to a calm space.

Cat (Thursday - 12N)

In my classes I encourage you to find your edge and trust your intuition, while keeping a sense of lightheartedness and curiosity. My roots are in the alignment principles made famous by BKS Lyengar; students are encouraged to find the overlap among strength, breath, mindfulness and a serious sense of play! With a strong foundation in form my main concentration and skills are based on keeping students safe. My knowledge of adjustment and alignment enables to teach students in a gentle manner.
