“You can’t miss us, we’re the Barn with the large sculpture in the front yard,” say Barn Workshop President Michael Guadagno. “We’ve been teaching students of all skill levels since 1973.”
As part of your tour, Michael will talk about the different techniques you can use such as handbuilding and wheel throwing and show you the kilns where the clay is fired.

Spring classes are starting in March. “We will have a Monday evening introductory class that will run four weeks starting March 5. We also have 14-week classes on Tuesday mornings and evenings starting March 6, Wednesday evenings starting March 7, and Thursday evenings beginning March 8,” he continued. “Morning classes are from 9:00 am – 11:30 am; evening classes are from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm.”
“Classes are small and everyone receives individualized instruction. Students work at their own pace on their own projects, learning from our teachers as well as each other. You can work on functional objects such as bowls, mugs, and platters or you can create sculptural projects. It’s up to you.”
