This annual holiday event, sponsored by the Reading Garden Club, gives people an opportunity to commemorate an individual or to celebrate an event through the purchase of $5 "lights" for the Memory Tree. The names of the donors and the people and events being honored are read aloud at the ceremony and are listed in a book on display in the library during December. Forms for purchasing "lights" are available at www.readinggardenclub.org. All proceeds are used to support the Reading Garden Club's projects in and for the town of Reading.
