Why the arts? As explained by Americans for the Arts, “Young people who participate in the arts for at least three hours, three days a week for a year are: 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, 3 times more likely to be elected to class office within their schools, and 4 times more likely to participate in a math and science fair. Give children every opportunity to succeed. Make sure they are getting their fair share of arts education which can also lead to your child becoming a more well-rounded individual.”

North Shore’ premier nonprofit community school for the arts, Creative Arts, has been providing exceptional instruction in visual and performing arts to a diverse population of young & old students year-round for 34 years. We are currently enrolling students (ages 3-103) in the visual art, theatre and music programs. Individual music lessons are also available for all ages.
