Pricing: Donation of $5 for eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes; $10 to take your picture with the Easter Bunny. If you bring your own camera, you can take as many photos as you want.

Why Go: North Reading Youth Soccer is sponsoring the bake sale and proceeds with go to the American Red Cross. Buy some baked goods, help out the Japanese people and catch some local soccer action on the pitch.

Where/When: Sudden Pond, Harold Parker State Forest, 305 Middleton Road, North Andover. 6 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Grab your fishing poles from the cellar and attend the 62nd annual fishing derby run by the Andover Sportsmen’s Club. Ages 1 to 15. There will be trophies, bait and food. The event held rain or shine.

Why Go: Cheer on the North Reading boys’ lacrosse team in a battle against Swampscott. What better way to spend a sunny weekend day than cheering on the Hornets!

Where/When: First Congregational Church of Reading, 25 Woburn St., Reading. 10 a.m., Saturday, April 16.
Why Go: Gerald Herrott, a certified appraiser, will be giving antique appraisals at the First Congregational Church of Reading, 25 Woburn St., Reading, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16. Admission is free for the event, which is sponsored by the Congregational Women’s Fellowship.
