Hey Reading, Remember To Get Out and Vote Tuesday

RMHS Field House open for voting in State Primary starting at 7 a.m.

Remember when almost 44 percent of Reading voters turned out for the town's April override vote? Here's hoping those same good citizens (plus the rest of you!) know it's primary day Tuesday and time to vote again.

While Tuesday's election may not directly effect your taxes, down the line those who win office could have the same effect on your family's bottom line. Two Reading residents would second that thought. Anne Landry is running in the Democratic primary for State Representative in the 30th Middlesex District along with three Woburn residents, Joseph Demers, Rich Haggerty, and Darry Remillard. And Erin Calvo-Bocci is running unopposed in the Republican primary for the State Senate in the 5th Middlesex District.

Other contested offices on the ballot include governor, lieutenant governor, district attorney, secretary of state, and democratic state senate for the 5th District (Jason Lewis vs. Samantha Haggar).
