A prayer vigil will be held on Sunday, December 4, at 9:30 am at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading at 239 Woburn Street in support of water protectors at Standing Rock, ND. Sioux Chief Arvol Looking Horse called for interfaith prayer vigils after police shot water cannons at nonviolent Water Protectors in sub-freezing temperatures. All are invited to come in solidarity, fulfilling UUCR's mission to help heal the world. This vigil precedes the regularly scheduled Sunday morning worship service which is at 10 am on the first Sunday of the month.
