Job Opening with the Reading Police Department

The Reading Police Department is seeking a substitute crossing guard to help ensure Reading’s children make it to school safely.

According to the job posting, the person would work from 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with slight variations depending on the school assignment. The job pays $13.50 per hour and requires is seasonal with the school year (August through May).

Qualifications include, among other things, having the ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public and successfully completing a structured training program annually. Check out additional qualifications and details in the job posting.
