John Feudo Named Burbank YMCA’s New Executive Director in Reading

The YMCA of Greater Boston is pleased to announce that John Feudo of Tewksbury will be Burbank YMCA’s new Executive Director.

Feudo joins the Burbank YMCA with a history of serving the Reading community. He has worked for the Town of Reading for the last 14 years. As the Community Service Director for the Town of Reading, Feudo had general oversight of four divisions and staff of Recreation, Elder Human Services, Veterans Services, and Health Services. In this role, Feudo developed and prioritized a capital improvements program to address the recreation facility needs of the Reading community.

Prior to that, he was the Director of Recreation for the Town of Reading where he oversaw and fostered the development of programs that are inclusive and provide opportunity for youth regardless of level. In this role, Feudo managed two professional staff members as well as more than 50 season workers. He developed a paid internship that was successfully self-funded by programming and increased the program revolving fund by approximately 50 percent.

Out of the office, Feudo is very involved in the community. He is a CCD teacher as well as a soccer coach and Little League coach. Feudo is also a Member of the Massachusetts Recreation and Parks Association Conference Committee.

Feudo attended Southern New Hampshire University (formerly known as New Hampshire College) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. He also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with concentration in Leadership from Franklin Pierce College.
