New Ministerial Intern Arrives at Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading
Ministerial Intern runs Hunger Banquet at UUCR this weekend

Liz Weber, a Master of Divinity student in her final year at Andover Newton Theological School, will spend the next two years as a ministerial intern at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading. Liz has a concentration in Spiritual and Pastoral Care as well as Religion and Conflict Transformation. After a first career in American Sign Language interpretation, she is especially interested in Restorative Justice, Group Dynamics, and Pastoral Care. Liz is called to a career in Hospital Chaplaincy.
She is excited about learning from and serving a church during a transitional period as it builds momentum and energy. She is looking forward to working with both the Reverend Catherine Senghas, the interim minister, and the settled minister who will be called in May.
Liz is in charge of the Make A Difference Sunday program, including a Food Justice service learning series. On October 16 at 10:30 am, all are invited to participate in a Hunger Banquet and on November 20, children and adults alike will decorate cookies for the Bread and Roses Soup Kitchen in Lawrence.
