New Reading Program Announced to Help Caregivers

The Caregiver Respite Program aims to give caregivers a short break.

The Reading Trust Fund Commissioners have added a program called the Caregiver Respite Program, allowing for caregivers to take short breaks from their around-the-clock care, according to a press release from the Town of Reading Tuesday morning.

The Reading Response Program will provide Certified Home Health Aides through Hallmark Health VNA and Hospice for up to three hours per month

"The service is intended to provide caregivers a much-needed break from tasks while still assuring that their person is cared for," the release said.
