One Week and Counting Until Reading Votes

Selectmen, School Committee, future of marijuana in town all on ballot.

The signs are back. Can you tell it's election season?

But if Reading residents learned anything after the failed October override, it's not the lawns with signs you have to worry about. Tuesday at 7 a.m. the doors open at the Reading Memorial High School Field House and the voting commences. After 6,892 residents (36.9 percent) turned out to defeat the override last fall, it's hoped that Reading again has a strong turnout.

And what's on the line? Here's a look at what and who you'll be voting on Tuesday.
