Our Lady of the Assumption Celebrates Confirmations

Bishop Mark O'Connell celebrates mass, says "It takes courage to be Catholic."

LYNNFIELD – Forty-six young adults were Confirmed at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Sunday, Oct. 14. Bishop Mark O’Connell, Bishop of the North Region of the Archdiocese of Boston, celebrated the Mass with Father Paul Ritt, Pastor of the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative, and Father Tony Luongo, Parochial Vicar of the Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative, concelebrating.

Bishop O’Connell admitted to the newly Confirmed that “It takes courage to be Catholic,” but that God has a calling for everyone, and each calling is unique to each person, and if they answer that call, their lives will be examples of God’s glory.
