• Public Power Utilities Detail Activities Planned for Public Power Week (publicpower.org) — Reading Municipal Light Department is inviting local customers to an October 8 open house featuring family activities, safety demos, and information on energy-saving programs. While utilities nationwide mark Public Power Week, this event gives Reading-area families a hands-on chance to meet RMLD staff, explore trucks and equipment, and learn practical ways to manage electricity use at home.
