Whitelam Books is hosting local poets, K.T. Landon and Moira Linehan for a Community Poetry Reading on Wednesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. Whitelam Books is located in downtown Reading at 610 Main Street, near the intersection of Haven Street and Main Street.

Southern Illinois University Press published Moira Linehan's two collections: If No Moon (2007) and Incarnate Grace (2016). Dorianne Laux chose Moira's first collection as the 2006 winner of the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry open competition. Both books were named Honor Books in Poetry by the Massachusetts Center for the Book. Moira's work has been widely published in such journals as Green Mountains Review, Image, Nimrod, Notre Dame Review, Poetry Lore, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Rattle, and Salamander, among others. Her poem “Cill Rialaig Landscape” was the first place grand prize winner in Atlanta Review’s 2016 International Poetry Contest.

K. T. Landon is the author of Orange, Dreaming (Five Oaks Press, 2017) and received her MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net anthology and was selected by Natalie Diaz for inclusion in Best New Poets 2017. She serves as a poetry reader for Muzzle and her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Narrative, New Millennium Writings, and Passages North, among others.
