6:06 a.m.—Police assisted several Middlesex County Sheriffs in arresting Brian P. English, 26, of Reading, on an outstanding warrant from the MBTA Transit Police for assault with a deadly weapon and a warrant out of Lowell for armed robbery.

4:56 a.m.—An officer interviewed an assault victim at Winchester Hospital, leading to an arrest by Woburn Police (see entry at 6:41 a.m.).
5:52 a.m.—A Main Street resident reported both tail light covers had been stolen from his pick-up truck at the General Washington Arms apartments.
6:41 a.m.—James B. Moore, 22, of Woburn, was summonsed to Woburn District Court for vandalism of property (screen door). According to police, officers were dispatched to Winchester Hospital to take a report of a past assault. Officers determined the assault occurred in Reading and Reading PD was notified. In cooperation with the Reading Police, officers searched for the man, who was found in his vehicle, parked at the Salem Street entrance to Woburn High. He was booked and transported to Reading to face assault charges.
8:02 a.m.—Officers assisted in a domestic matter and the situation was resolved.
11:28 a.m.—Police investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle at Catherine Avenue and West Street, but the vehicle was nowhere to be found.
12:20 p.m.—Ronaldo G. Deaguiar, 26, of Everett, was cited by police for operating with a suspended license and improper display of license plates.
3:22 p.m.—An officer responded to Ash Street, where a railroad crossing gate had broken off and was on the ground with wires still attached. Amtrak was called and someone was dispatched to fix the gate.
4:02 p.m.—A female Pine Ridge Road resident reported being harassed by a former boyfriend, and police spoke with both parties to explain their options.
4:18 p.m.—Police responded to Stop & Shop on Walker’s Brook Drive for a reported shoplifting incident. The suspects, described as a hispanic male in his thirties, and a large hispanic female in her thirties, fled from the store with cases of Red Bull. Store employees and police recovered product valued at over $600, and believe that more may have already been loaded into the suspect’s pick-up truck. Officers were to view the video tape on Feb. 15.
4:50 p.m.—Police spoke with a Haystack Road resident after pellets from his gun were missing targets and striking a neighboring house. The resident agreed to take down the targets.
9:01 p.m.—Police investigated reports of a suspicious vehicle idling in the driveway of a vacant County Road home, and discovered the property owner’s son-in-law was just leaving some landscaping equipment for the morning.
11:22 p.m.—Officers investigated a report of a minivan on Francis Road which knocked down several trash barrels. The vehicle was last seen heading towards Charles Street, but the witness was unable to furnish a license plate number.
