Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Holds 18th Annual Remembrance Service
Annual Remembrance Service gives friends and families who have lost a loved in the last year to reflect and share memories
On Saturday, September 17th, 2016, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA, held its annual Remembrance Service at the Pierce Boulevard Flag Circle. This nondenominational service gives family and friends the opportunity to reflect and share memories of their departed loved ones from the last year.
Jim Glynn, a third generation family member of Puritan Lawn, opened the service and introduced Pastor Tom Coots who presented the invocation and benediction. Pastor Coots has been an active participant in the Puritan Lawn services for many years. Select readings were recited by members of the Puritan Lawn community and attendees were invited to place a flower in a vase in memory of their loved ones.
On December 4th, 2016 at 4:15 p.m., Puritan Lawn will hold its 28th Annual Candlelight Service and Tree Lighting. This service allows friends and family to pay respects to their loved ones, whether they are buried at Puritan Lawn or elsewhere. The Masconomet Choir will sing holiday selections and short readings and poems will be read. The public is invited to attend.

Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematory has been providing plan-ahead information since 1933 and is the oldest memorial park on the East Coast. It has 140 acres surrounded by three lakes.
