Reading Boys Seeded No. 4 in MIAA Lacrosse Pairings

Rockets begin play next week in North Sectional. Reading girls seeded No. 10.

The Reading boys' lacrosse team earned the No. 4 seed in the MIAA Division 1 North tournament and will face North Andover in a quarterfinal matchup.

The Rockets (15-3) are seeded 4th behind No. 1 Lincoln-Sudbury (15-1), No. 2 Andover (16-4), and No. 3 Acton-Boxboro (14-4).

North Andover is No. 5 at 13-5 and the Knights will visit Reading on Saturday, June 3 at 5 p.m. Reading is in the same half of the brackets as Lincoln-Sudbury and the two could meet in the semifinals. L-S beat Reading, 19-9, in last year's North final and went on to win the state title.

The girls also made the tournament and are seeded No. 10 with a 9-7 record. Reading will travel to No. 7 seed Beverly (12-7) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The winner of that game plays Chelmsford in the quarterfinals.
