Reading Moms Running for a Cause

Supporting Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America

On Superbowl Sunday, 2/5/17 Reading residents will run the New Orleans Rock n' Roll Half Marathon to help conquer Crohn's and Colitis as members of Team Challenge New England CCFA. Runners include:

  • Kerry Dunnell
  • Lori Weston

Along with teammates from New England and beyond, they will cover the 13.1-mile race course with a goal to raise funds for Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). Proceeds from the event go directly to the CCFA which allows scientists to continue looking at IBD from every angle – to create not only better therapies, but cures. Additionally, CCFA programs are bringing support to over 300,000 Crohn’s and colitis patients in America – a number that continues to increase every year.

Each CCFA Team Challenge member commits to raise or contribute at least $3,400 to the cause. To learn more about running for Team Challenge CCFA or to support a runner, please visit Team Challenge.
