Authorities have released a statement on the investigation into a shooting earlier this month

READING, MA — A full report of the officer-involved fatal shooting of a Reading man earlier this month will be made public upon the conclusion of an investigation, authorities confirmed Monday.
The officer, who has not been named, was immediately placed on paid administrative leave following the shooting, pending the results of the investigation, per department policy. The Middlesex DA's Office and the Reading Police are looking into the Feb. 3 shooting that left 43-year-old Alan Greenough and will determine if charges will be filed. Authorities have not indicated charges will be filed.
Investigators will gather and review "witness statements, police reports, radio transmissions, autopsy reports, ballistics tests, and all other available information," the DA's Office said.
