Reading Softball LL Holds First Board Meeting

Reading Softball Little League elected it's new board of directors Jan 5th.

Reading Softball Little League (RSLL)

Reading Softball Little League held its first open board meeting Thursday January 5th at the Reading Public Library; and had an excellent turnout. The first order of business, after a brief discussion of the state of the new league, was to fill key board positions. Our newly elected board now consists of the following Reading Parents:

President: Bob Hayes

Safety Officer: John Yurewicz

Equipment Director: Albie Cail

Coaching Coordinator: Dan Martell

Player Agent; Senior Div: Mike Naczas

Player Agent; Junior Div: Mike Naczas

Player Agent; Major Div: Tim Higgins

Player Agent; Minor Div: Domenic Savino

Community Development & Liaison: John Halsey

Fundraising and Communications Director: Caryn Hayes

Once the board was in place discussions included but were not limited to:

  • Establishing a Safety & C.O.R.I. Policy
  • Scheduling Coaching Clinics
  • Scheduling Player Clinics and Evaluations
  • Working with the town on field maintenance and upgrades
  • Possibilities of scheduling games with surrounding towns
  • And much more …

All-in-all it was a great first board meeting with lots of positive energy.
