Reading's Charlie Donahue Interns with Rep. Jones’ office

Belmont Hill student has assisted the representative's staff in answering calls, responding to constituent requests.

Reading's Charlie Donahue is working as an intern in the State House office of House Minority Leader Bradley H. Jones, Jr. (R-North Reading).

A junior at the Belmont Hill School, Charlie began his internship in February and will be working in Representative Jones’ Boston office through the end of May. As an intern, he has assisted the representative’s staff by answering phone calls, responding to constituent requests, and working on mailings. He has also accompanied staff members to formal sessions of the House of Representatives, where he has observed the legislative process firsthand as members have debated and voted on a variety of bills.

“Charlie is a bright young man with a genuine interest in learning how state government works,” said Representative Jones. “It has been a pleasure to have him working in my office.”
