REDHEADED STEPCHILD PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS "FOREVER PLAID"

Local Students perform in this "heavenly classic" produced by Leigh Barrett and directed by Peter Miller

What happens when four best friends decide to put on a show about...4 best friends?

Reading natives Matt Miller,17, Matt Baynes,17, and Travis Giragosian,17, along with Matt Knowles,19, of Danvers-are starring in Forever Plaid! Coming this July. Stefanie Sack, 17, a recent RMHS grad will helm the stage management team, which includes Wakefield naitve, Julia Blois, 18. The show tells the story of four best friends in 1964 who love close harmony and the audio visual club. Through the power of Harmony and the Expanding Holes in the Ozone Layer, in conjunction with the positions of the planets they are allowed to jump through time to perform their first big gig that they never got to do in real life.

Leigh Barrett, formerly of Wakefield and mother of Matt Miller, also happens to be a professional actor and director, will produce and Peter Miller, Matt’s Dad, who happens to have directed and been in several productions of the show from NY to Stoneham, will direct. It’s a family affair and they’ve teamed up to share this heartwarming and funny story. Joe Nuccio, uncle of Matt Knowles, will music direct.

Leigh’s brand new production company, Redheaded Stepchild Productions will produce the show on July 15 & 16 at 7:30 and July 17 at 3pm at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church at 273 Vernon Street, Wakefield and tickets are available at www.ticketstage.com or by calling 617-539-6029
