Teen Floor Hockey at the Burbank YMCA

Starting THIS FRIDAY, 4/29, the Burbank YMCA in Reading will be running a floor hockey league for teens on Friday nights until June 17th.

SPRING 2 SESSION

OPEN TO GRADES 6-9

Play at least seven organized, refereed indoor floor hockey games using the full gymnasium and scoreboard. Improve your hockey skills, have a good work out, and be competitive with your friends. Prizes will be distributed to the winning team at the end.

Dates: Friday evenings from April 29th – June 17th, (except Friday, May 13th)

· Grades 6 and 7: 6-7pm

· Grades 8 and 9: 7-8pm

Location: Burbank YMCA gymnasium

This league is no contact. We will provide protective sports eyewear. Please bring sneakers for footwear and your own floor hockey sticks. Wooden sticks are acceptable if a sock is placed over the blade. Gloves are optional for all players. Only goalies may use a mask, a goalie stick, or a goalie glove but those are optional as well.

Fee: $40 for members and $65 for nonmembers

Registration: Online or at the Welcome Desk ASAP, nonmembers please fill out our teen program application packet if you haven’t already.
