Trader Joe's Plans To Open New Store In Reading
Following speculation, the popular grocery chain has confirmed plans to open a Reading location.
READING, MA — Trader Joe's is planning to open a location in Reading, a company official confirmed.
Nakia Rohde, a public relations manager for the company, released the following statement. "We are actively looking at hundreds of neighborhoods across the country as we hope to open more new neighborhood stores each year. I’m happy to share that we have plans for a Trader Joe’s store in Reading. We do not yet have a location or timeline to share."
Currently, Trader Joe's operates 21 stores in the state.

The confirmation follows months of anticipation after employees cited a company bulletin indicating that a future store would be added, according to Reading Recap.
In November, Trader Joe's opened a second store in Newton.
