• Berkshire Communities Awarded Unpaved Roads Program Grants (iberkshires.com) — Richmond is receiving a $150,000 state design grant to improve its unpaved roads, part of a new $11.26 million MassDOT program for dirt and gravel roads statewide. The funding will help plan upgrades that boost safety, drainage, and emergency access on locally owned roads, alongside similar awards to nearby Berkshire towns like Monterey, Sandisfield, Becket, Hinsdale, Savoy, and Stockbridge.
