Suit alleges firefighting foam makers hid chemical dangers (wwlp.com) — Rockland is among more than 80 Massachusetts communities where serious PFAS contamination has been found in public drinking water systems, and the state is now suing major manufacturers of firefighting foam to recoup cleanup costs. Attorney General Maura Healey’s lawsuit seeks hundreds of millions for remediation, stricter accountability, and long-term monitoring, with recommendations that could change firefighting gear and training statewide.
   

4.
