The decision, secured by Attorney General Andrea Campbell’s office, confirms residents and visitors can continue using the coastal rocks and ledges at 18 Long Branch Avenue for recreation.

• State Offers Aid to Shellfish Industry Following Haverhill Sewage Release (whav.net) — Rockport shellfish harvesters are in line for a share of $300,000 in state relief after closures tied to Haverhill’s sewage release and heavy rain. The Division of Marine Fisheries says emergency shellfish bans, including in Rockport waters, are easing as tests come back clean and more areas are expected to reopen soon, weather permitting.
