Boston Pride announced today the fifth annual Pride Night @ Fenway Park on Friday, June 9

Boston Pride announced today the fifth annual Pride Night @ Fenway Park on Friday, June 9, which will take place as part of 2017 Boston Pride Week (June 2 – June 11.) This year’s Pride Night @ Fenway Park will feature the Boston Red Sox vs. Detroit Tigers at 7:10 p.m. Pride Night @ Fenway Park game tickets include a pre-game Pride Party on the Right Field Roof Deck This year’s Boston Pride Week theme is “Stronger Together.”

“The Red Sox have been a great Pride Partner over the past five years and we continue the relationship with Pride Night @ Fenway Park,” said Sylvain Bruni, President of Boston Pride. “Our theme, ‘Stronger Together’, truly reflects the commitment that the Red Sox organization has made to Boston Pride and the LGBTQ community. We look forward to a great night.”

In addition, a member of the LGBTQ community will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game and the New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus will sing the National Anthem. Boston Pride Week 2017 will kick-off with the Pride flag raising on City Hall Plaza on Friday, June 2 and continue with events throughout the week, concluding with the annual Boston Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 10, the “Stronger Together Rally and Pride Block Parties on Sunday June 11 in the Back Bay and Jamaica Plain.
