Boston Pride Announces Liberty Mutual as a 2017 Pride Partner

Boston Pride announced today that Liberty Mutual has joined as a Pride Partner supporting this year’s Pride events during the 2017 Pride Week, which takes place on June 2 to June 11 and features the annual Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 10.

“After many years of marching in the Pride Parade, we are excited to welcome Liberty Mutual as a partner of Boston Pride,” said Sylvain Bruni, President of Boston Pride. “Our partners in the business community, such as Liberty Mutual, who align themselves with Boston Pride help us drive the message that we are in fact stronger together.”

Liberty Mutual it committed to diversity and inclusion and values the unique background and cultures of all of their employees. Liberty Mutual has marched in the Boston Pride Parade for five years, and last year hundreds of employees carried the 20’ x 30’ rainbow flag throughout the entire parade. This year Liberty Mutual plans to have a similar presence in the Boston Pride Parade.

Boston Pride Week 2017 will kick-off with the Pride flag raising on City Hall Plaza on Friday, June 2 and continue with events throughout the week, concluding with the annual Boston Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 10, the “Stronger Together Rally and Pride Block Parties on Sunday June 11 in the Back Bay and Jamaica Plain.
