Boston Pride Delivers Pins to Elected Officials to Wear on St. Patrick's Day/Evacuation Day Celebrations

Pins depict a rainbow and American Flag

Boston Pride today delivered lapel pins depicting a rainbow and American flag to elected officials across the city for them to wear during events celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and Evacuation Day. Boston Pride is asking the elected officials to wear the pins in support of Veterans and the LGBTQ community.

“Boston Pride is providing the lapel pins to our elected officials so that they can show their support for our veterans and the LGBTQ community during the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day and Evacuation Day events and beyond,” said Sylvain Bruni, Boston Pride President. “These pins also relate to this year’s Pride theme, ‘Stronger Together’ and is our way of promoting a sense of unity and inclusion for all.”
