Boston Pride to Host Presidential Issues Forum
Boston Pride to host public forum to discuss the issues important to LGBT community during the upcoming presidential election in November
WHAT: As part of Pride Month, Boston Pride will host a public forum to discuss the issues important to the LGBT community during the upcoming presidential election in November. There are many domestic and foreign issues that affect the LGBT community including civil rights and discrimination against the LGBT community, particularly to transgender individuals; marriage equality; immigration and more. The Forum will be a moderated panel discussion with community leaders and experts who will present their views on how the issues are affecting the national political campaigns. The Forum will also give the local LGBT community the opportunity to interact with the panel in a Q and A session. The Forum is free and open to the public.
