Jazz Sunday: Cindy Scott & Brian Seeger / Faith Haloulakou Quartet presents “New Skin”

    New Orleans-based vocalist Cindy Scott and guitarist Brian Seeger have been cultivating their magical musical connection for over a decade, wowing audiences around the world, including concerts in Kazakhstan, Turkey, Mexico, Morocco and across the US and Europe. Their music embraces jazz, the music of New Orleans, Southern Soul, and Americana.

    For the second set, Faith Haloulakou’s original music, based on healing texts, combines experimental jazz with elements of Greek folklore. With Haloulakou (vocals), Brian Price (clarinet), Lefteris Kordis (piano), Austin McMahon (drums), and a dancer (tba)!

     Jazz Sundays at the Square Root brings together Boston’s best jazz artists in an intimate restaurant setting for performances and themed jams. Cover $10-20 at the door pays the musicians.
