CeltiCare Health's 'Get Healthy Fair' a Success at Franklin Park Zoo

CeltiCare Health, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation, hosted a health fair at the Franklin Park Zoo on Saturday, where hundreds of people participated. Co-sponsored by Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center, the Get Healthy Fair connected community members with local health care organizations and encouraged neighbors to improve their health and well being.

“We’re delighted to join neighbors and visitors at the Franklin Park Zoo for our Get Healthy Fair,” said Jay Gonzalez, President and CEO of CeltiCare Health, which offers health insurance plans through MassHealth and the Health Connector. “This is an opportunity to connect with our community members and help them and their families live healthier lives.”

Resources available at the fair included health screenings, like blood pressure and glucose checks; health condition information, such as prostate cancer and substance use disorders; dental information; haircuts; nutrition information; healthy foods; and physical activity and yoga exercise classes.
