City of Boston to Host Annual Rainbow Flag Raising Ceremony with Boston Pride

WHAT: Boston Pride is excited to kick-off Boston Pride Month with its annual Flag Raising Ceremony on Friday, June 3 at 11 AM. Sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, the Flag Raising at City Hall is the first official event of Pride Month. This year Boston Pride is celebrating its 46 years of advocacy for the LGBT community with the theme, “Solidarity Through Pride.” The Flag Raising will also recognize this year’s Grand Marshal Claire B. Naughton, Parade Marshal Raffi Freedman-Gurspan, and Honorary Marshals Bayard Rustin and Thomas V. Barbera.
