Faneuil Hall Marketplace Glistens This Holiday Season

Faneuil Hall Marketplace is glistening this holiday season with the daily light and sound show Blink! that runs until January 3, 2016 in addition to special attractions for shoppers, diners and those who are eager to get into the holiday spirit. The 85+ foot tree, located at Marketplace Center, is the focal point of Blink!, the holiday program featuring 350,000 lights that are synchronized to the music of the Holiday Pops. Throughout the holiday season there are special events at Faneuil Hall Marketplace including Blink!, Interactive Rudolph Readings and much more! The Marketplace is also a drop off location for the New England Patriots Annual Toy Drive.

“Faneuil Hall Marketplace is a wonderful spot to get into the holiday spirit with great shopping, restaurants and pubs and the remarkable Blink! show,” said Carol Troxell, President of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace Merchants Association. “Blink! is a gift to the city of Boston from the merchants and we want everyone from near and far to join us to celebrate the holiday season from before Thanksgiving, through to New Year’s.

Blink! A Light and Sound Extravaganza

November 21 – January 3, 4:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

One of the most notable holiday traditions in Boston, Blink! lights up the sky and gets everyone in the holiday spirit. The state-of-the-art light and sound extravaganza features more than 350,000 LED lights that dance seamlessly to holiday music. The tree is located on Marketplace Center, near the East End of Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

Tuba Christmas

Join us at Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Saturday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m. for the 30th Annual Boston Tuba Christmas Concert! Come experience over 150 Tuba players serenade the crowd with your favorite Holiday Classics. The event is FREE and open to the public and will be located in the West End of Faneuil Hall Marketplace

Interactive Reading: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

December 5 and 12

Join Citi Performing Arts Center’s Education Team on Saturdays, December 5 and 12 at 11 am at Make Way for Ducklings Store, Faneuil Hall Marketplace for an interactive reading of a holiday classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Led by Citi Center’s Teaching Artist Jeremy Gooden, Rudolph is sure to fill all participants with holiday cheer!

2015 First Night/First Day Ice Sculptures
