Farmers' Market May Extend 3 Weeks Into November

The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market Committee is discussing extending the season into on a smaller scale.

The Roslindale Village Farmers' Market may be extended on a smaller scale for three Saturdays in November.

Farmers' Market Committee member Rick Ward said it would be "working with a small group of farmers... a 'mini-Farmers' Market' is taking shape that will extend the season to the Saturday before Thanksgiving."

But it won't be the full-fledged Farmers' Market, as there will most likely be three farms, a few food venderrs, and no arts and crafts for the kids in the possibly colder weather.

Hours for the mini-farmers' market would most likely be shorter, only a couple of hours on Saturday.
