First Appearances for Top Comic Artists, Return Appearances and Stan Lee’s Final East Coast Appearance at Boston Comic Con
More than 60 Artists to Appear at the 10th Annual Event

Some of the world’s top comic artists will be appearing for the first time at Boston Comic Con 2017 including John Romita, Jr. of Suicide Squad, David Finch of Batman, Mike Zeck of Punisher and return appearances of J. Scott Campbell and Greg Capullo. The show will also host the final east coast appearance of legendary comic creator Stan Lee. Boston Comic Con 2017 also brings a rare appearance from the artist extraordinaire Drew Struzan who created more than 150 movie posters including Indiana Jones, Back to the Future and Star Wars film series. These artists join 60+ other comic artists at the three-day show that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year as the comic show known to be “true to comics, committed to fans.”
“Boston comic fans are in for a real treat as they get the chance to see true legends who have never been to Boston Comic Con before such as John Romita, Jr., David Finch, Mike Zeck and Drew Struzan,” said Andrew Moyes, Boston Comic Con Vice President. “Boston Comic Con fans will have the total experience, and it would not be possible without the amazing artists who bring our favorite characters to life. From artists on the rise to timeless legends like Stan Lee, this year’s comic guests will be unforgettable.”

Comic Artists will be located in Artist Alley where fans will have the opportunity to interact with them throughout the weekend.

Boston Comic Con 2017 also includes celebrity presentations, autographs and photo ops, seminars, panels and “how to” workshops, artist alley, cosplay and costume competition, special previews, artist sketch duels, Kids Zone, community and fan groups and portfolio reviews. The show includes over 500 exhibitors in 250,000+ square feet at the spacious Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the first time that Boston Comic Con has been held in this venue.
