Howl-O-Ween Comes to Faneuil Hall Marketplace

Faneuil Hall Marketplace Merchants Association will be hosting its third annual Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the West End of the property. Pet owners are invited to dress their pets in a Halloween costume and participate in the annual parade. There will be a panel of judges who will decide the winners of six top awards.

“Faneuil Hall Marketplace is thrilled to celebrate this year’s Halloween with our third annual pet parade,” said Carol Troxell, President of the Faneuil Hall Merchants Association. “We are excited to see the creative costumes as owners and their pets parade around the Marketplace and give us their best in show.”

The Halloween Pet Parade and Costume Contest will be hosted by radio station Magic 106.7FM. Prizes will be awarded for “Top 3 Best of Show,” “Best Owner & Pet Combo,” “Best Local Representation,” and “Most Creative.”

Prize baskets featuring gift cards and goodies will be provided by Faneuil Hall Marketplace merchants. Pet-friendly partners, Pawblow Picasso, a pet portrait artist and 2 Dog Treats, all-natural dog treats, will join the festivities. Wellness Pet Food will give out free samples of their nutritious and healthy food and to all participants. The event is also the perfect place for pet photos. Pets and their owners will have the opportunity to have their photos taken in their creative costumes on a red carpet.
