National Braille Press Releases New Valentine’s Day Cards
Nation's leading producer and publisher offers braille Valentine's Day cards in support of braille literacy
February 6, 2017 – Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and thanks to National Braille Press (NBP), you can share the love with everyone while contributing to a great cause. This year’s Valentine’s Day cards are available for purchase.
“These Valentine’s Day cards are fun for everyone,” said Brian MacDonald, President of National Braille Press. “Blind and sighted friends have the opportunity to read the cards together in braille.”
This year’s Valentine features a fun play on words. An exuberant green crayon exclaims, “For crayon out loud, Happy Valentine’s Day!” On the back of the card is a “braille decoder” to help sighted friends and family read the messages in braille. The print/braille Valentines are the perfect way to promote braille among family, friends and classmates.
This new Valentine’s Day card is offered in two different packages. The small packs include 20 print/braille Valentines plus envelopes for $12. The large packs include 32 print/braille Valentines plus envelopes for $15.
