Photos: Last Roslindale Village Farmers' Market for 2012 Season

Say goodbye to getting fresh produce from local farms in Adams Park until next spring. But say hello to some great photos by Chris Lang!

This past Saturday saw the final Roslindale Village Farmers' Market for the 2012 season. But don't weep like wilting spinach, because this was the most successful farmers' market in its more than 20 years of history!

Parkway photographer Chris Lang took these photos of the final market on November 17.

Saturday's market was the last week of the extended season. Usually the market ends in the last week of October, but due to the extended growing season, local farmers were able to provide local beets, radishes, lettuce and more, for a couple more weeks.

There were only three farms the last three weeks: The Neighborhood Farm, MacArthur Farm and Brookwood Farm, while there are usually more during the regular season.
