RCN Official Partner of the Boston Cannons

Top Telecom Provider to Partner with Boston's Major League Lacrosse Team

RCN Boston, New England’s leading provider of high speed internet and all-digital television and phone services announced today that it is partnering with the Boston Cannons, Boston’s Major League Lacrosse (MLL) men’s team, for the 2016 season. The Boston Cannons play their home games at their at Harvard Stadium and their next home game is on Saturday, May 14 versus the Rochester Rattlers.

Additionally, RCN will have a significant visual presence on the Boston Cannons’ home field at Harvard Stadium. As part of this partnership, RCN will be the Co-Presenting Sponsors of the 3rd annual Cannons Skills competitions that are held throughout New England. They will also retain naming rights and act as a Presenting Partner of the RCN Dream Team for the 2016 season, providing the opportunity for one youth lacrosse team to be a part of player introductions at the start of every Cannons home game. Youth players will be paired with Cannons players and participate in player introductions, including running onto the field and lining up for the National Anthem.

About the Boston Cannons

The Boston Cannons are one of the founding franchises of Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league. They began play in June 2001 and won their first MLL Championship on August 28, 2011. For their 16th season, the Cannons will host seven home games back at Harvard Stadium under the leadership of new Head Coach, Sean Quirk.
